Charles L. Finch, 73, of Pecatonia went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 12, 2021. Born on February 12, 1948 in Rockford; son of Charles and Mary Lou (Geroux) Finch. Graduate of Harlem High School. Charles was employed as a plumber and pipe fitter. Member of UAW and Local 23 and the Cedarville Lion's Club. He attended Living Faith Church in Rockton. Charles had a relationship with Christ and was very spiritual. He was a dreamer and a very intelligent, passionate person. He was persistent and uncompromising in his convictions. He loved to learn and to study. He modeled for his children discipline and a spiritual quest, a longing to connect with the Divine. He enjoyed photography, loved animals and had a saxophone collection. Survived by his children; Michelle Finch, Charles (Violaine) Finch, Heather (River Kochen) Finch; grandchildren, Isaac, Honor, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Zahaia, Isaiah; brother, Steven (Sandy) Finch; nephew, Tim Finch; niece, Julie (Jeremy) Peterson; and special friends, Otto and Ambar May. Preceded in death by his parents. Private services have been held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the Cedarville Lions Club, PO Box 324, Cedarville 61013.
