Cathy Jean Hoffstrom, 57 of Racine, WI died on September 6, 2012 in Pleasant Prairie, WI after a long battle with cancer. She was born on March 10, 1955 in Cheyenne, WY. Cathy is survived by her children, Michael (Elizabeth) Bowker of Round Lake, Stephanie Examitas and Eugene Examitas Jr., both of Milwaukee, WI; mother Dolores Goodman of Rockford; grandchildren, Emily, Abigail, and Joshua Bowker; step-mother, Jan Hoffstrom of Rockford; siblings, Dan (Judy) Goodman of Loves Park, Ross (Val) Goodman of Rockford, Kevin (Sue) Hoffstrom of Loves Park; step-sister, Julie Hoffstrom of Rockford; Uncle Wayne (Elaine) Hoffstrom of Rockford; cousin, Pamela Hoffstrom of Aurora; nieces Heather, Harmony, Kim and Ellisa Goodman, all of Rockford. Preceded in death by her father, Roger Hoffstrom; step-father, Earl Goodman; aunt, Karen Peterson. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 South Alpine Rd. Rockford with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment in Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cathy's family.
