Carol J. Newcomer was born in the midst of the Great Depression. She was vigilant, thoughtful, and caring toward her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor throughout her life and was strong for those around her. She sacrificed much and loved people, especially her family and close friends. She passed away to her rest on December 7, 2020 at 7:50 am. She is survived by her four children, Charlene (Brad), Curtis (Ruby), Teresa, and Brenda (Jim), eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was loved dearly by those who knew her. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will linger in our memories and our lives. Walk through visitation on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford.
