Carol Ann Johnson, 73 of Rockford passed on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 1:20 p.m. at Rockford Nursing and Rehab. Carol was born on March 19, 1938, daughter of Garrett "Gus" and Annie Wright. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the foundation of her family, supporting them with her unconditional love. She touched the lives of everyone around her with her warm and caring heart and true kindness towards all. Carol was a native of Rockford, and returned to the area after living in Spooner, WI for 15 years, where she had many friends and was an active member of the Shell Lake Full Gospel Church. Carol is survived by her children, Judith (Mike) Greaves, Martha Johnson, Kimberly Donoso-Lopez, all of Rockford; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie (Sheila) Wright; nephew, David Wright, both of Montana; niece, Lisa Wright, of Washington; and many friends. Private Services will be held. Grace Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
