Carol Ann Gibbs of Belvidere passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Carol was born in Clinton, WI, December 24th, 1940 to Ivan and Herma Graham. She married Donald Gibbs March 11th 1961, in Belvidere, IL. She was a homemaker where she took great pride in raising her children. She loved being surrounded by her loved ones and unselfishly went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. She will truly be missed by all those who knew her. Carol enjoyed shopping, the Chicago Bears, and trips to the Riverboat. Survivors include her husband; children Rhonda Guasto, Donnita (Rick) Lutzow, Lisa (Brent) Walker, and Donald Gibbs; grandchildren, Kara (Matt Donovan) Guasto, Zack and Nick Lutzow, and Jake and Tyler Walker; great grandchild, Madison Donovan; special nephew Michael Tice; sisters, Judy (Ben) Charlet, Pat (Jerry) Roth, and brother Richard Graham; brother in law Ron (Bonnie) Gibbs; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Mother and Father, sisters Bernice, Elaine, Arlene; brothers Russell and Jerry. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
