Beautiful Daughter, Loving Sister, Aunt and Friend
Brandi "Sissy" Lorene Brooks, 34 of Rockford went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 13, 2010. Brandi was born on April 26, 1976 in Rockford, daughter of James and Betty Brooks. Brandi loved animals, especially her dogs, Abbiegayle, Toby and Bear. Her courage and love for others was admired by her family. Brandi was a kind soul, who always looked out for others – especially the "underdogs." She enjoyed spending time with her mom, and went with her whenever she had the chance. Brandi is survived by her parents, Betty of Rockford and James (Sharon) Brooks of Mission, TX; siblings, Patricia (Tony) Guglielmetti of Leaf River, James W. (Heidi) Brooks of Rockford, Rick (Mindy) Brooks of Leaf River; nieces and nephews, Rick (Tanya) Glover, Nick Gugliemetti, Warren Solverson, Amber Brooks, Rachel Guglielmetti, Amanda Brooks, Jimmy, Blaine, Brendan, Blake, Jessi, Bailey, and Abbiegayle Brooks; Aunts and Uncles, Frances (Paul) Watson, Louise (Gene) Adams, William Hillhouse; boyfriend, Donald Eash and his children, who Brandi considered her step-children, Shelby, Vinnie, Ethan, Trinka; numerous cousins, and best friends, Bob Marske, and Janice. Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of Brandi's Life will be on Friday September 17, 2010 at 6pm at Life Church 4312 20th St. Rockford, IL 61109.
