Beverly Marie Molitor, 69, of Loves Park went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 1, 2018. Born on June 6, 1948 in Rockford, daughter of Orville and Hazel (Peterson) Blegen. Graduate of West High School. In her younger years, Beverly was employed at the Top Hat Restaurant. She was a proud and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed time with her granddaughters, especially watching them dance and perform for her. She was a member of Grace Family Church. She was a caregiver, and was especially gifted at comforting and caring for people with Alzheimer's. She loved meeting new people, and had a knack for remembering names, faces and facts of those she encountered, even years later. Her relationship with the Lord was paramount to her life, Christ was always at the forefront of her mind, and she shared her relationship and the promise of salvation with those she met. Beverly was never waylaid in life, she had an optimistic view and even in the face of adversity and illness remained positive and steadfast in prayer, claiming the Lord's healing power. She was skilled at the card game Phase 10, always having a deck on hand and excited to teach it to others. Beverly was helpful, caring and giving. She used her time, treasure and talents to help others. Beverly was a thrifty shopper, purchasing thoughtful gifts for her family and friends. Survived by daughter, Kelly (Brent) Livingston of Corpus Christi, TX; son, Kevin (Shari) Molitor of South Beloit; former spouse and friend, Richard Molitor of Loves Park; grandchildren, Isabelle and Kiera Molitor of South Beloit; siblings, Ronald (Carol) Blegen of Lake Delton, WI, Ordean (Dorothy) Blegen of Janesville, WI, Herman (Sharon) Blegen of Snohomish, WA, Karen (Grant) Johnson of Byron, Sandy (Steve) Finch of Loves Park; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved dearly. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Duane Blegen. Beverly's family is thankful to the nurses and CNAs at Swedish American Hospital in Belvidere for taking such wonderful care of her. Memorial Visitation 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on January 11, 2018 at Grace Family Church 3202 Pleasant Valley Blvd. Rockford, with service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Keith Manley will officiate.
