Avon Clyde Myers, 64, of Rockford died at 6:43 a.m. on February 5, 2014 in his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 27, 1949 in Oneida, TN, son of Kenneth and Arlena (Newport) Myers. United in Marriage to Jane Sizemore on January 25, 1971. Retired from CamCar after 34 years, where he worked as a scheduler. Survived by his wife, Jane; children, Staci (Buck) Kirkland of Rockford, Richard (Patty) Myers of Machesney Park; grandsons, Shane (Elizabeth) Malone, Landon Jackson, and Evan Myers.
