Andrew Charles Krauss, 60, of Rockford surrounded by his family went home to Heaven on March 5, 2024. Born January 16, 1964 in Oakland, CA; son of Burton Krauss and Juanita (Jim) Sallee. Andy joined the United States Navy in 1982 and proudly served his country while stationed in El Centro, CA; he was honorably discharged in 1986. United in marriage to Adriana Durán on November 17, 1984 in El Centro, CA. Andy was self-employed as an insurance agent for over 20 years in the Rockford community. He was a faithful member of Rock Valley Bible Church and served for many years as the Youth Group Leader, Vacation Bible School Director, and Worship Leader. He loved to use his talents to sing God's praises. Andy loved to fish and treasured sharing his love of the sport with his children and grandchildren. He was also an active member of Alpine Kiwanis. Survived by his loving wife, Adriana Durán Krauss and children - Amy (Adam) Lask, Alyssa (Drew) Patton, Anna (Caleb) Alvarez, Amanda (Armin) Geaschel, Andrew Charles Krauss II; grandchildren, Madelynn and Payton Lask, Lucille and Evie Patton; brother, Mark (Donna) Krauss and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Krauss. Visitation on Thursday evening, March 14th at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday morning, March 15th from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford, followed by a Celebration of Life service on Friday, March15th at 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. and Military Graveside Service following at 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. Pastor Steve Brandon will officiate.
