Allen Foltz, 84, of Belvidere went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 19, 2023. Born November 17,1938 in Clinton, IN; son of Lawrence and Mary (Ferguson) Foltz. Allen attended Clinton High School and graduated in the class of 1956. Allen grew up on the family farm in Indiana and developed his strong work ethic plowing & planting the fields. Allen later relocated his family to Belvidere & began a career at the Chrysler Assembly plant. He retired from Chrysler after 34 years of employment with several years of perfect attendance. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping, repairing & fixing anything broken from cars to projects around the house. He enjoyed country music, Elvis, fast cars (never missed the Indy 500), Nascar, cooking (famous Navy Bean soup & homemade pizza) & watching Bears football. He also enjoyed weekend road trips and long-haul trucking trips with his son, Jeff. He enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family, sharing the current events & stories from the past. Survived by sons; Jeffrey Foltz, Dale (Sandee) Foltz; grandchildren, Derrick Foltz, Nikki (Steve) Leonard, Stephanie (Rigoberto) Alvares, Stacey Foltz, Brigitte (Harrison) Grote, Jackson Foltz; great-grandchildren: Jerrick, Makayla, Ava, Adriana, Levi, Logan, Jayceon, Mercy, Ethan, Magnus; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Foltz; siblings, Earl, Francis, Robert and Stanley Foltz and Charlotte Roan.
