Albert Heuer, 84, of Belvidere died on June 17, 2015. Born on November 6, 1930 in Belvidere, son of Albert and Elizabeth (Simons) Heuer. Albert served in the United States Army in the Korean War. United in marriage to Bernice "Bea" Nelson in 1952. She preceded him in death. On September 26, 1981 he married Alberta Williams. Albert was a talented and skilled carpenter, using his skills to build beautiful homes, cabinets and other projects. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida and spent many summers at Lake Mills. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a current member of the Belvidere VFW, and former member of the Capron Lions Club, where he served as President; the Belvidere Moose Club, and the Capron Lutheran Church. Survived by his wife, Alberta; son, Douglas (Teresa) Heuer; step-children, Noreen (Greg) Kelm, Kent (Marlene) Williams, Kevin Williams; grandchildren, Beth (Erik) Stephans, Michelle (Troy) Evans, Andrew (Mariana) Kelm, Angela Kelm, Heather Heuer, and Michael Heuer; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Bunjess, Alyce James; brother, Kenneth Heuer. Preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Bette Huntington, Vernie Shook, Roberta Baker and brother, John Heuer. Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 1340 S. Alpine Rd.
